Hill City Area Chamber of Commerce

Rich in history, small in size, and big on hospitality and events, Hill City is a favorite destination of active families and couples, empty nesters, and “bucket listers” alike!  At 4,974’ elevation, you’re just minutes away from the jaw-dropping views from Black Elk Peak (7,242’ elev.), or the spectacular beauty of the Cathedral Spires and the grandeur of Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse Memorial. Take winding roads through pine-scented Ponderosa forests, see the roaming buffalo in Custer State Park, or experience the thrill of hiking, biking, horseback riding, and rock-climbing in the area known as “The Heart of the Hills.”
